The CAPD was formed in 1989 and is the largest independent, non-profit personal and professional development organisation in the UK and Eire. Its goal is to promote best practice and raise the awareness, standards and professionalism of training and learning development across UK & Europe whilst providing value added benefits to its members.
CAPD members come from a wide range of companies/organisations such as The Office of Fair Trading, Government Office London, Reuters, The Guide Association, British Bankers' Association, The Valuation Office, BMW, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, The Arts, Government departments, Financial Services, Automotive Industry, Pharmaceuticals, Hospitality, Media, Property Management, Energy suppliers, Training & Management Consultants, County Councils, Airlines, Travel, The NHS, Police Force, Armed Forces and many wonderful and various Charities.
